Ingredients

Filling
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cucchiaino soy sauce
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino ginger powder
Wonton Wrappers
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (50 count)
  • Cooking spray or oil for spraying

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix until well combined.
  2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, then press the edges to seal. Optionally, fold the corners of the triangle towards the center to form a pocket.
  4. Repeat with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange wontons in a single layer, making sure they do not touch. Spray the tops lightly with oil.
  7. Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These chicken wontons are great for parties or as a fun snack. You can prepare the filling ahead of time and assemble just before cooking. Serve with soy sauce or sweet chili sauce.
