- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix until well combined.
- Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the center of the wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, then press the edges to seal. Optionally, fold the corners of the triangle towards the center to form a pocket.
- Repeat with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange wontons in a single layer, making sure they do not touch. Spray the tops lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
These chicken wontons are great for parties or as a fun snack. You can prepare the filling ahead of time and assemble just before cooking. Serve with soy sauce or sweet chili sauce.
