Ingredients
  

Chicken Preparation
  • 450 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 240 g sunflower seeds, shelled
  • 60 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino paprika
  • 0.5 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 bottle cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken piece first in flour mixture, then in eggs, and finally coat with sunflower seeds, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, you can double-coat the chicken by repeating the egg and sunflower seed steps before air frying.
