Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 cucchiaino Salt and pepper to taste
  • 20 g Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. After marinating, remove chicken from the marinade and sprinkle cornstarch evenly over the thighs.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes, flip the chicken and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, toss the chicken in a bit more sesame seeds before air frying. This dish pairs well with steamed rice or a fresh salad.
