Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Check for doneness (internal temperature should reach 165°F). If needed, air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Notes
For extra crispy nuggets, consider double-dipping in the egg and breadcrumbs.
