- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and egg.
- Mix until well combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs (about 16 meatballs).
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Cook the meatballs at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary. These meatballs pair well with marinara sauce or on a sub sandwich.
