- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine hemp hearts, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and add olive oil, mixing well.
- Cut chicken breasts into strips or bite-sized pieces.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the hemp heart mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken pieces and cook for an additional 8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, spray the coated chicken lightly with cooking spray before air frying. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
