Ingredients
  

Chicken Breasts
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 1 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 30 g chia seeds

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix well.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  4. Sprinkle chia seeds over the coated chicken, pressing gently to help them adhere.
  5. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry the chicken for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, lightly spray the chicken with cooking spray before air frying to enhance the chia seed texture.
