Ingredients

Chicken
  • 2 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
Buckwheat
  • 1 cup cooked buckwheat
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino dried oregano
  • 1 cucchiaino Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • 10 g Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional) Optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are well covered. Let them marinate for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook the chicken for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C). If needed, cook for an additional 2-5 minutes.
  7. While the chicken is cooking, warm the cooked buckwheat in a small pot or microwave.
  8. Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve the sliced chicken over a bed of warm buckwheat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Ensure the chicken breasts are of even thickness for more consistent cooking. You can pound them to an even thickness if necessary.
