- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Mix well until fully combined.
- Take a piece of bao dough and flatten it into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Place 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center.
- Gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together to seal the filling inside. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the bao in the basket, ensuring they are not touching (you may need to work in batches).
- Air fry the bao for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce and a splash of rice vinegar. Make sure the bao are not overcrowded in the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
