Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 454 g ground chicken
  • 15 ml soy sauce
  • 15 ml oyster sauce
  • 5 ml sesame oil
  • 1 cucchiaino minced garlic
  • 1 cucchiaino minced ginger
  • 2 g green onions, finely chopped
Bao Dough
  • 340 g bao dough (store-bought)
  • 1 ml cooking spray

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Take a piece of bao dough and flatten it into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Place 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center.
  3. Gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together to seal the filling inside. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the bao in the basket, ensuring they are not touching (you may need to work in batches).
  6. Air fry the bao for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce and a splash of rice vinegar. Make sure the bao are not overcrowded in the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
