Method
- Peel the celery root using a vegetable peeler and cut it into 1-inch cubes.
- In a large bowl, toss the celery root cubes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme (if using) until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned celery root cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
- Cook at 400°F for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Once done, check for tenderness and adjust the cook time if necessary. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
