Ingredients
  

Celery Root
  • 1 g medium celery root (about 1 pound)
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 1/2 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino fresh thyme (optional)

Method
 

  1. Peel the celery root using a vegetable peeler and cut it into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the celery root cubes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme (if using) until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned celery root cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
  5. Cook at 400°F for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Once done, check for tenderness and adjust the cook time if necessary. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
