Ingredients
  

Cassava
  • 450 g cassava (fresh or frozen)
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino sea salt
  • 1/2 cucchiaino paprika optional
  • 1/2 cucchiaino garlic powder optional

Method
 

  1. If using fresh cassava, peel and cut it into 1-inch thick sticks. If using frozen, thaw and pat dry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the cassava sticks with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the cassava sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Check for doneness; the cassava should be golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray the cassava with a light layer of cooking spray halfway through cooking. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.
