- If using fresh cassava, peel and cut it into 1-inch thick sticks. If using frozen, thaw and pat dry.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the cassava sticks with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the cassava sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Check for doneness; the cassava should be golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, spray the cassava with a light layer of cooking spray halfway through cooking. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.
