- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
- Dredge each calamari ring in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the breaded calamari in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra crunch, double bread the calamari by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
