  • 2 beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin, about 1 inch thick, ~8 oz each)
  • 2 cucchiai olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino salt to taste
  • 1 cucchiaino pepper to taste
  • 1 Fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  5. Cook for 12-15 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Adjust the time based on desired doneness (use a meat thermometer for accuracy: 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium).
  6. Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

Using a meat thermometer ensures perfect doneness. Letting the steaks rest allows juices to redistribute, resulting in more flavorful meat.
