Ingredients
  

Artichokes
  • 2 medium artichokes
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 5 ml lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the stems of the artichokes and remove the tough outer leaves. Cut about 1 inch off the top of each artichoke.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the mixture generously over the artichokes, ensuring the oil gets between the leaves.
  5. Place the artichokes in the air fryer basket, cut side up.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Check for doneness; the leaves should pull away easily. If needed, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the air fryer, let cool slightly, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Serve with a dipping sauce like melted butter or aioli for added flavor.
