3-Ingredient Butter Cookies
  • 1 cup butter softened and slightly melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork or the bottom of a glass to create a decorative pattern.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of salt to the dough. Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
