Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits

Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits

Easy, tender, and delicious biscuits made with just two ingredients.

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 8 biscuits 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups White Lily self-rising flour
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and heavy whipping cream. Stir gently with a spatula or wooden spoon just until a shaggy dough forms. Do not overmix—this is key to tender biscuits!
  3. Form the Biscuits: Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it 2–3 times to bring it together. Pat the dough out to about 3/4-inch thickness. Using a round biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass, cut out biscuits. Press straight down—don’t twist—or they won’t rise evenly.
  4. Arrange and Bake: Place the biscuits close together on the prepared baking sheet for softer sides, or spaced apart for crispier edges. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until tops are lightly golden.
  5. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with butter, jam, honey, or gravy—these biscuits go with everything!

Notes

  • Optional Tip: You can brush the tops with melted butter right after baking for extra richness and a glossy finish.
