Strawberry Jello Salad

A light, fruity, and creamy dessert made with fresh strawberries, fluffy whipped topping, and a sweet Jello base. Perfect for potlucks, holidays, or a refreshing summer treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jello Base:
  2. In a large bowl, dissolve strawberry Jello in 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well.
  4. Chill the Jello:
  5. Refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour until it thickens to a gel-like consistency but isn’t fully set.
  6. Add the Mix-Ins:
  7. Fold in pineapple, fresh strawberries, and mini marshmallows.
  8. (Optional) Stir in chopped pecans for added crunch.
  9. Add the Whipped Topping:
  10. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
  11. Chill & Serve:
  12. Transfer to a serving dish or mold and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.
  13. Garnish with extra strawberries or pecans before serving.
