Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 (16 oz) bag frozen corn (or 2 cans, drained)
- 2 oz cream cheese (about 1/4 cup), cubed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Add-ins:
- Pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne for a kick
- Chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder for extra depth
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the honey. Let it bubble for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add frozen corn directly to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly caramelized.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the cubed cream cheese until fully melted and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add optional herbs or spices if desired.
- Serve hot straight from the skillet or in a serving dish. Enjoy!
Notes
- Don’t overcook the corn—just heat it through to keep the texture bright.
- Full-fat cream cheese melts more smoothly than low-fat.
- This pairs perfectly with BBQ, grilled meats, or holiday meals.
