- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the French fried onions on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
Notes
- Try adding sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
- Substitute cream of chicken soup if desired.
