- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, celery, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Fold in the stuffing mix until evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- If using, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
