Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, celery, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Fold in the stuffing mix until evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. If using, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
