Cheesy Ground Beef Rice Casserole

A hearty and comforting casserole made with ground beef, rice, and creamy mushroom soup, topped with melty cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink.
  3. Drain off any fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked ground beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and casserole is hot and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm. Enjoy!

  • Use brown rice for a whole-grain twist.
