Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 10 oz refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into pieces
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1½ cups prepared country gravy

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage and onions in butter until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Layer biscuit pieces in the baking dish, then add sausage mixture.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, and oregano; pour over the sausage.
  5. Top with cheese and warm gravy.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and set. Serve warm.
