- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ onion, diced
- 10 oz refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into pieces
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 5 eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1½ cups prepared country gravy
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook sausage and onions in butter until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Layer biscuit pieces in the baking dish, then add sausage mixture.
- Whisk eggs, milk, and oregano; pour over the sausage.
- Top with cheese and warm gravy.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and set. Serve warm.
