Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour (with xanthan gum)
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups warm water (around 110°F)
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Slowly add warm water, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until dough is sticky but not too wet.
- Let It Rise: Cover with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled.
- Shape the Dough: Grease a loaf pan and transfer the dough, smoothing the top.
- Second Rise: Let rise in the pan for another 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Cool and Slice: Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- For a softer crust, brush with butter or olive oil after baking.
- Ensure full baking to avoid a gummy texture.
- Refrigerate the dough after the first rise for enhanced flavor.
