Instructions
- Prepare the cheesecake layer: In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and Baileys until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the whipped cream: Gently stir 1 cup whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture until light and fluffy.
- Layer the trifle: In a large trifle dish (or glass bowl), start with half the chocolate cake cubes.
- Add pudding: Spoon half the chocolate pudding evenly over the cake.
- Add cheesecake mixture: Spread half the Baileys cheesecake layer over the pudding.
- Top with whipped cream: Spread a layer of whipped cream on top.
- Repeat layers: Add the remaining cake, pudding, cheesecake, and whipped cream.
- Finish beautifully: Sprinkle chocolate shavings or chips over the top.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
