Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the snickerdoodle cake mix evenly over the apples.
  4. In a small bowl, combine ground cinnamon and nutmeg, then sprinkle over the cake mix.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the entire cake mixture.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top if using.
