Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or lean)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard (optional)
- 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
- 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
- Optional fillings: diced pickles, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onion
- Topping/Dipping ideas: ketchup, mustard, burger sauce, ranch, chipotle mayo, BBQ sauce, hot sauce
Instructions
- Cook the beef: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and stir in ketchup and mustard (if using). Remove from heat.
- Assemble the wraps: Lay out tortillas. Place a slice of cheese in the center, then spoon beef mixture on top. Add optional toppings like pickles or burger sauce.
- Fold the wraps burrito-style (fold sides in, then roll up tightly from the bottom). Spray lightly with olive oil spray.
- Air fry: Place seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Slice in half and serve with your favorite dipping sauce, fries, or a side salad.
Notes
- Don’t overfill wraps to avoid leaks and make rolling easier.
- Place seam-side down first to help seal the wrap.
- Use shredded or sliced cheese—anything melty works!
- Want more crisp? Brush with melted butter instead of spray.
- For extra flavor, add bacon, chopped onions, or pickles inside.
- These reheat beautifully in the air fryer—great for meal prep.
